Young Frankenstein Production Details

Updated 14 Aug 2014 (cast list posted)

Congratulations to the cast of "Young Frankstein" and Thank You to everyone who came and auditioned!  The cast list has been posted.

Rehearsals begin this Monday, August 18th -- details to follow via email.

Adapted for the stage from the movie of the same name, "Young Frankenstein" tells the story of Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen"), the grandson of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked side-kick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds.

The comedy genius Mel Brooks (creator of the record-breaking Broadway sensation "The Producers") adapts his electrifyingly funny film of the same name into a brilliant stage creation, and The Actorsingers are pleased to bring you the New Hampshire premiere of this hilarious show!
