The NH Community Theatre One-Act Festival will be held in the historic Rochester Opera House the weekend of September 12, 2015.
Interested directors should submit proposals to the A/S board to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 1st.
There is no restriction on material other than the performance fit the time constraints. There isn't any censorship of language or subject matter. The piece can be original or an old chestnut; musical or non-musical straight play. The performance format will be one 80 minute block in which the piece is set on stage, performed and struck. There will be two adjudicators this year which will provide public feedback immediately after the performance. In addition to a performance period each organization is allowed a separate 80 minute technical rehearsal to become familiar with the stage. Also there will be a site visit and tour of the theater a month or two prior to the festival. The date has yet to be determined.
The festival chairperson is Joe Pelonzi. He can be reached at email@example.com
