Trial by Pilate/39 Lashes



Most of the 'moves' in this number are done by the 'bad' people who want to see 
JC crucified.  'Good' people react to their moves.



Jesus sings "I have got no kingdom in this world. I'm through, through,through"

MOB "talk to me Jesus Christ" some arms go out (individuals know who you are)


Pilate "...We both have truths. Are mine the same as yours?"

MOB "Crucify him! Crucify him!"  arms cross in front of body on "cru" come down on "him"
(2 x total)

Pilate "What do you mean? You'd crucify your king?"

MOB "We have no king by Caesar"  R arm goes up (bent at the elbow) on "caesar"

Pilate "He's done...slightest thing"

MOB repeat the above "...no king but..."

Pilate "Well this is new...by the sackfull"

MOB "We need him crucified, It's all you have to do" (2x)  Arms come up and cross in front
on "cru" arms go down on "have".

Pilate "Talk to me JC...I need a crime"

MOB "Kill him he says....and every Caesar" R arm up bent on 'caesar'.
	"Crucify him..." arms crossed then down


Pilate "behold...king"

MOB ...caeser...crucify him (bent arm/crossed arms-same as before)

MOB: "crucify him (repeated many times). arms up and crossed on 'cru', down on 'him'. on 'crucify
crucify, crucify...' arms crossed in front bang together on each 'cru'

MOB "remember caesar, you have a duty...." on 'caesar' R arm bent.  on 'duty' R arm crosses chest.
on 'crucify' arms crossed in front. on 'him' arms down.

"remember caesar, you'll be demoted..." r arm up on 'caesar'. both arms down on 'deported'. 
'crucify'...same as before.
