The
directors presented their production concept, gave information on the
auditions process, and answered questions.
Materials presented at Info Night are available for download as either an Adobe PDF file (click here for .pdf) or as a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation (click here for .ppt).
A workshop to help prepare
for the Jesus Christ Superstar dance audition will be held at the Nashua
YMCA (17 Prospect Street, downtown Nashua) on Saturday, the 22nd of January,
from 12:30 - 2:00pm. Cost is $5 (or free
if you're a member of the Y). The workshop will include rhythmic
exercises, mostly hip hop style, but some jazz dance as well. The JCS
dance audition piece will also be taught at the workshop. You do NOT
need to attend this workshop in order to audition for the show! The dance
audition piece (four bars of eight) will be taught on the Audition Dates as
well. This workshop is being offered to provide familiarity with the
general style of dance that will be used throughout the show.
Please call Lynne Boyer at 882-2011 with any questions.
Auditions will be held Sunday and Monday evenings, January 23 and 24, starting at the 6pm on the 23rd and 7pm on the 24th. Auditionees are invited to arrive early to learn the short dance combination that will be part of the audition.
If the auditioning board deems that callback auditions are required, they will be held on Wednesday January 26 at 7pm.
