<bio date="2002" show="s2002b">
  A veteran of  grand opera, concert, and musical theater stages,  
  <b>Michele Henderson</b> has been a professional singer for over twenty-five years 
  in the U.S. and Europe.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree in 
  Vocal Performance  from the Conservatory of Music in Freiburg, Germany where 
  she also studied theater arts and conducting.  Together with her husband 
  William Carey and son John, Michele relocated here from southern California 
  in 1996. As a singing teacher with the Carey &amp; Henderson Vocal Studios 
  in Nashua, Michele is especially dedicated to the development of young vocal 
  talent  Her music directing credits include <i>A Christmas Carol</i> and 
  <i>The Pirates of Penzance</i> for the American Stage Festival and Peacock 
  Players, and <i>Camelot</i> and <i>Titanic</i> for the Actorsingers.
