Mar 30 With sadness we report that Betty Badeau has passed away. Betty started helping the Actorsingers back in 1956 and didn't stop for more than half a century. She worked in makeup, wardrobe, concessions, ushering, and tickets, tickets, tickets... her smiling face (along with that of her dear friend and tickets-partner, the late John Liljeberg) was always a welcome sight at our productions.

Devotion like Betty's is very hard to come by. She was loved and will be missed by us all.

Arrangements are in the care of Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home. Visiting hours Wednesday evening 6:00 to 9:00 at Anctil-Rochette; funeral mass Thursday, 9:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd.

Jan 31 With sadness we report that John T. Liljeberg has passed away. In a career of well over forty years with the Actorsingers, John performed on stage, directed, produced, and helped with virtually every aspect of our productions. He was a Life Member, Past President, and Penny Award recipient among many other distinctions, and extraordinarily devoted to the organization through easy and hard times alike. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Raelene and family and friends.

Arrangements: We understand that calling hours will be Tuesday Feb 5th from 5pm to 8pm, with the funeral on Wednesday Feb 6th at 11am, all at the Davis Funeral Home in Nashua.

Jan 28 Beauty and the Beast audition results will be posted on the Beauty and the Beast page

June 12 The Actorsingers production of CATS has now closed. It had successful runs in both Nashua (May) and Concord NH (June), and was enjoyed by THOUSANDS of people young and old. The following lovely email we received from a family that saw one of the Nashua performances pretty much sums up what many people experienced:

Subject: Please share with CATS cast!

Hello Actorsingers,

Thank-you so much for an amazing production of Cats! I had no Idea I would find a production of this caliber locally. I kept having to remind myself we were not at a production in Boston, or NY except we did not have to drive any distance, or pay $40 to park the car, or sit so far from the stage we couldn’t really see anything... so many thanks! I was also able to bring my daughter (4 years old) to her second theatrical experience, not break the bank, and have her see an exceptional performance. From the costumes, the staging and the dancing to the incredible singing! Wow the singing... what words to use, so many talented voices, all unique but beautiful in so many ways. I had goose bumps so many times during the performance... thanks again.

My daughter was mesmerized by the whole experience... imagine a 4 year old sitting through your whole performance, not a peep, the only movement from her was to look around the heads in front of us to get a better look... she grinned from ear to ear and clapped with gusto!! She loved it! She asked driving home in the car when the next "play" was that we were going to! Future ActorSinger member?... who knows!

I will be watching closely for future productions from your group, I only wish I had found you sooner!

Please enjoy the Photo, your cast was kind enough to pose with my daughter, it was the icing on the cake for her.

Sincerely and with great appreciation,

Robbie Wilson, and family,
Salem, NH

Thank you very much, Wilson Family, for your kind words and for sharing that charming photo!

June 1 Our mainstage production for Spring 2007 will be OKLAHOMA!. Info on the OKLAHOMA page.
