ObituariesCharter Member of Actorsingers Albin R. Tamulonis Albin R. Tamulonis, 85, of Gilman Hill Rd., Mason died Thursday March 10, 2005 at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA following a brief illness. Mr. Tamulonis was born in Nashua on January 2, 1920 a son of the late Peter & Helen (Simonitis) Tamulonis. He was the devoted husband of Margaret “Penny” (Tennant) Tamulonis of Mason. Mr. Tamulonis was a lifelong resident of Nashua and was a 1938 graduate of Nashua High School. He also attended Northeastern University, IBM Computer School. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Tamulonis had been employed by Edgecomb Steel as a data processing manager. He was the last charter member of the Actorsingers and a past president of the former Lithuanian Club. He enjoyed band music and was a member of the VFW and American Legion Bands since 1946. He also loved a good game of cribbage. Mr. Tamulonis was a WWII Army veteran serving with the 281st Army Ground Forces Band. He was a member of the V.F.W Post 483. Besides his wife, Mr. Tamulonis is survived by; Two sons & a daughter-in-law; Geoffrey Tamulonis of Tewkesbury, UK and Stephan & Jeanne Tamulonis of Mason One daughter; Linda Tamulonis of Dover Eight grandchildren; Phillip Tamulonis, Sara Tamulonis, Carlos Tamulonis, Amy Tamulonis, Erin Gibson and her husband Robert, Elizabeth Tamulonis, Alen Tamulonis and Timmy Tamulonis Two great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Travis One sister; Helen Partridge of Keene Two nephews; James Partridge and John Partridge Also several cousins

Father of our John McAllister John ‘Jack’ McAllister McAllister - Died Dec. 27, 2003, in Manchester. John "Jack" McAllister, 95, of Manchester. There are no calling hours. Published in the Nashua Telegraph on December 31, 2003 Ran embalming school; Army veteran of WWII John "Jack" McAllister, 95, of 200 Alliance Way, Manchester, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at his residence. Mr. McAllister was born March 22, 1908, in Scarsdale, N.Y., son of the late John and Cecilia (Croxford) McAllister. He lived most of his life in White Plains, N.Y., and had been a Manchester resident since 1995. He was the widower of Florence E. Edmonds. They were married 62 years. Mr. McAllister was the director of the McAllister School of Embalming, founded by his father, in New York City from 1946 to 1980. He remained active in the field of public education throughout his life. At the time of his death he had been conducting current event classes at Hillcrest Terrace. Mr. McAllister was a longtime member of the White Plains (N.Y.) Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder, trustee and a member of session. He was also a member of the University Club of White Plains, and the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He joined the Army in the late 1920s and re-enlisted to serve during World War II. He continued to be active with the Reserve for many years and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Mr. McAllister earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts & Sciences in New York City, a law degree from New York Law School, and a master’s degree from New York University. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda McAllister. Survivors include a son, John J. McAllister of Hollis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
