General

This show wasn't too bad -- the surprising thing is that there are *any* misprints given they've had ~1.5 centuries to get it right :-)

Cornets

Act II, No. I
10th measure - first 3 eighth notes are missing. This measure should be identical to 10 after mark [C] (dotted quarter C for 1st, dotted quarter A for 2nd w/bar indicating note should be subdivided)

Act II, No. 14
Lots of rehearsal markings were either wrong or omitted.

  • mark [A] is the 17th measure of the piece (and not the 4th bar)
  • mark [P] is 14 after mark [M]. (There is no mark [N] nor mark [O]).
  • mark [R] is 21 after Tempo di Valse
  • mark [S] is 15 bars after mark [R]
  • mark [T] is 14 after mark [S]
  • mark [U] is 28 after mark [T]
  • mark [V] is 25 after mark [U]
  • Cello

    Act I, No. 1
14th measure should be marked "arco"

    Act II, No. 3
"arco" at the pickup to 12 after mark [E]

    Act II, No. 5
    "arco" at mark [A]

    French Horn

    Act II, No. 6
In the 2nd horn part, there is an F natural dotted quarter followed by an eighth (also F natural) at 2 before mark [C]. Both these F naturals should be sharped. (Strangely enough, this was printed in the conductor's score, but not corrected in the horn book.)
