P L A Y by P L A Y P R E V I E W Bringing you theatre and music news with a focus on young people Volume IV Issue #7, August 2, 2002 Scroll down for the "In This Issue" Section Spaghetti and a Show with the Junior Actorsingers, Serving "Anything's Pastable" The Junior Actorsingers are serving up their third summer dinner theatre, August 16, 17, and 18 at Saint Stanislaus Hall in Nashua. The bill-of-fare features a complete spaghetti dinner with the show on Friday and Saturday at 6:30 PM, and a dessert buffet with the show on Sunday at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and students. For $75 you can reserve a table for eight people of any age. Tickets are available now by calling (603) 595-4692. If you plan to see this show, please order early. The theme this year is a musical tribute to Broadway and New York City, and the program includes many favorite Broadway and patriotic themes. Kathy Lovering is directing, Louis Duhamel is producer, Valerie Psoinos is choreographer, and Ginny Corcoran is music director, assisted by Alene Bonner and Deb Walz. Members of Actorsingers, parents, friends, and theatre-lovers from the greater Nashua community have been building sets and planning the menu for this summer dinner theatre production, the third for the Junior Actorsingers. Valerie Psoinos started developing her expertise in theatre arts when she performed with the Junior Actorsingers twelve years ago. This recent UNH graduate created the dance routines for this show. Rehearsing intricate production dance numbers with a cast of more than 60 would have been a daunting task for many. This choreographer taught the routines to her assistants and dance captains, high school students Bryan Richardson, Laura Babb, Tim GilPatrick, and Darius Harper. Working in small teams and as an ensemble, outdoor dance rehearsals have been slowing traffic all summer long at Actorsingers Hall on Lake Street in Nashua. The cast includes young people from many towns in southern NH and northern MA. From Nashua and Merrimack: Heather Anderson, Hannah Andrick, Dana Angellis, Dana Barsoian, John Barsoian, Marianne Bradley, Rachel Chazanovitz, Aaron Chilelli, Danielle Desjardins, Cassidy Dion, Nickie Dubick, Allison Duhamel, Emily Ellett, Joshua Enxing, Katie Farina, Patrice Nicole Forrester, Tim Frost, Molly Gallaher, Tim GilPatrick, Ashley Gove, Jacqui Grilli, Bill Hallahan, Darius Harper, Leanne Henderson, Mike Ierardi, Lena Keller, Samantha Kwan, Ben Levine, Emily Lovering, Madeline Lovering, Daniel Pipilas, Emily Pipilas, Elizabeth Powell, Emilee Powell, Claude Raymond, Katie Rich, Lanea Ritrovato, Kelsey Roy, Erin Schumann, Cara Sennott, Brian Simons, Rebecca Tabat, Katie Tocci, Tiffani Valdes, Alanna Vancor, Emily Vancor, Ryan Warren, and Elyse Williams. From Goffstown and Manchester: Billy Devan, Shanna Devan, and Michael Burkush. From Hollis and Brookline: Noelle Bourquard and Chelsea de Lacy. From Hudson, Londonderry, Litchfield, and Windham: Sarah Evans, Molly Halligan, Christina Law, Meghan O'Keefe, and Rebecca Sanscrainte.
