Penny Award Winner
Shirley Coutu

The Recipient of this year's award is most deserving. Shirley has been
a member of Actorsingers for several years and in that time has had an
effect on the structure of the organization itself. One of her contributions
was the creation of our recently implemented subscriber program. This allows
our audience to purchase their tickets yearly at a discount price for reserved
seats of their choice for as long as they remain subscribers. The work she
is best known for is in our costume department. She has either been our
designer or served on the costume committee for most of the shows in the past
few years. As Production Coordinator for 2 shows, Audition Board Chairman
for 4 shows and member of the Board of Directors now in her 4th year;
countless parties, errands and phone calls, we salute Shirley Coutu.
Our sincerest thanks. You deserve a standing ovation.

We would appreciate your opinion of our use of a synthesized orchestra
such as you will be hearing during the performance. Please write us at
